What is respite care? Respite care is short term care that caters for:

a) The short periods where caregivers have important commitments and are unable to look after their loved ones, when the foreign domestic worker goes on home leave, or when the caregiver is scheduled for medical treatments

b) Caregivers to take a short break from their caregiving role to take some time off for themselves

What are the documents I need to prepare? Please visit your preferred centre with your loved ones to view our facilities and to find out more about the fees and services. You will need to prepare the following documents if you wish to pre-enrol with us directly:

– Your loved one’s NRIC
– Past medical reports or discharge summary
– Your loved one’s medication list including allergies
– Any information on medical history such as food allergies
– Doctor’s memo or report if your loved one requires dementia day care

*Pre-enrolment does not guarantee placement with your preferred service provider, but aims to shorten the time for care activation when respite is needed. Placement is subject to available vacancies at your selected senior day care centre and no significant changes to your medical condition from the point of pre-enrolment.
