Course Overview

This course equips participants with foundational knowledge and practical skills to manage geriatric care effectively. Participants will learn to assess age-related health issues, develop care plans, and address the unique nutritional needs of seniors.

• Understanding common geriatric diseases and conditions (e.g., incontinence, mental illnesses, heart failure) and pertinent clinical terminologies.
• Emergency response techniques for clients.
• Nutrition needs for seniors and special diet planning.

• Assess and manage age-related health issues.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans for geriatric clients.
• Create appropriate diet plans based on client health needs and dietary restrictions.
