Course Overview
This 2-day course equips participants with essential knowledge and skills to manage Arterial Leg Ulcer (ALU). It covers pathophysiology, risk factors, clinical signs, diagnostics (including ABPI and foot assessment), and patient education. Participants will learn to develop tailored management plans for effective ALU care.
Course Objectives
At the end of the training, the learner will be able to:
- Understand the pathophysiology of Arterial Leg Ulcers.
- Identify underlying causes and risk factors of Arterial Leg Ulcers .
- Recognize the clinical presentations, signs and symptoms of Arterial Leg Ulcers
- Recognize the clinical presentations, sign and symptoms of Arterial Leg Ulcers
- Identify the diagnostic tools and test
- Perform ABPI and Foot Assessment
- Devise plan for Arterial Leg Ulcer management
