This module will cover the following:

Discuss basic knowledge about bones, joints, muscles and its function to human movement
Describe common medical terms and language used in therapy setting
Differentiate roles and responsibilities of a therapy assistant and therapists
Apply communication strategies in the interaction with client during therapy
Carry out systematic check of physical environment and therapy equipment prior to therapists assessment
Describe the types of services and different assessment measures within relevant work settings
Use proper body mechanics and transfer techniques to ensure safe care during therapy
List down infection control practices relevant to therapy setting

Upon successful completion of this course, you will obtain a Certificate of Achievement
