Resident Engagement at Bukit Batok Centre

October 07, 2017

Bukit Batok Centre Resident Engagement

Today at Bukit Batok St 11, we see many residents coming down to join us for a lineup of activities such as Zumba, falls prevention education, cooking demonstration and many others.

As part of an initiative to introduce the upcoming eldercare facility in the area, this event is brought together to engage residents in activities that promote healthy eating, healthy living and education on how they can declutter their homes, and reduce risks of falling. The event is graced by Mr Murali Pillai, Adviser to Bukit Batok SMC GROs, and MP of Bukit Batok SMC.

We also had the opportunity to take Mr Murali on a tour around our Bukit Batok centre which is still currently undergoing renovation.

We would like to extend our thanks to Mr Murali for gracing the event, and Bukit Batok CC Active Ageing Club, St Luke’s Hospital – Singapore and SAGE Counselling Centre for their support.

The new eldercare facility located at Blk 168 Bukit Batok West Ave 8, is set to open in January 2018.
